Small can be beautiful to !!
Here is my mid way inspiration for DCC & Friends Christmas challenge. There is a great prize up for grabs this month from Visible images worth £35.The card i have made is a small 4 inch square . I know that we are all in a dizzy about this time of year getting all our cards ready and posted before Christmas day and the price of p&p rising so decided to show that we can still make some beautiful cards on a small scale to avoid the large letter postage.
I have used a wonderful digi image from Dilly Beans . Digi images can be great as they can be scaled down to fit your card size. I have coloured the image with Promarkers and glazed the eyes , holly and flowers with a clear glaze. I have matted the image onto green and then gold card , then mounted it onto some snowflake backing papers and on to green and gold card again to co-ordinate. I found that i only needed 1 small flourish and a flower and a bow to finish . Card candy was slightly to big for this card so i used a hole punch to cut the gold dots which were the perfect size.
So all in all a card to save the P&P ....
Please pop over to DCC & Friends for your chance to win this great prize.

This is lovely. I'm a big fan of smaller cards...still struggle to get under the large stamp cost, though, because of BIG embellies, lol.
