Twinchies

Twinchies are a fun and creative way to enjoy crafting , Measuring at just 2" square.
Making them the ideal card topper.

Here are some of the Twinchies that i have enjoyed making !!!

The top row is a set of 3 garden themed .
Made ready for a birthday card.
The bottom row are ready and waiting to be used on a wedding card!

Here is a sample of how i have used my Twinchies to make into a card they are very versatile and can be made and stored easily ready to use at a future date.
Why not have a go and see what you can do .
Have fun and ....Carry on crafting

 Lady in green

I know this looks like it is blue but it is a teal green, Maybe it is time to purchase a new camera!!!!
As i have been really busy over the last few days due to unfortunate happenings . I decided that i would use a free gift from the "Debbie Moore "  magazine.

The card blank is a plain white A4 280gms  piece of stock card which  i  have made myself into a stepper card.
I have covered the card with matching backing papers and reverted back to basic card making by edging with some fine line gold  boarder peel offs..

I have double heat embossed the main image to give a glossy photo finish.
The glitter border consists of double sided tape covered in fine diamond gold glitter.
A few well placed gold gems and a couple of teal green bows to set it all off .

Hope you have enjoyed viewing this project all comments welcome. Thank you

Love Caroline xxx

Two good friends

Written with a pen, sealed with a kiss,
If you are my friend, please answer me this:
Are we friends, or are we not?
You told me once, but I forgot.
So tell me now, and tell me true,
So I can say I'm here for you.
Of all the friends I've ever met,
You're the one I won't forget.
And if I die before you do,
I'll go to Heaven and wait for you,
I'll give the angels back their wings
And risk the loss of everything.
There isn't a thing I wouldn't do,
To have a friend just like you!

1st attempt at using a stencil

I thought as i had some free stencils it would only be right to have a go. I used some no name inks and some make up sponges to add the colours.
While adding the colours i was so tempted to move the stencil to take a peak , but i didn't !!!

As you can see it didn't come out to bad !!!
 Shocked myself  :)

I enjoyed making this so hopefully i will be doing some more in the future .

I have used the stencilled image to make this card , Keeping with the same colour tones . Adding a simple sentiment and a ribbon bow. And what card wouldn't be finished without a few pearls.

Sweet Pea Framed box card

I thought i would have a little play today !!
I had no template for the box frame so had to improvise and make my own version. Lucky for me it worked first time.
Once i had the frame sorted it was time to choose a stamp!!!

Of course it had to be my new " sweet pea " stamp
Its such a cute image , who couldn't resist .

I tried to keep the card as simple as i could so the image would be eye catching .

A grosgrain ribbon and a few plain die cut flowers and butterfly were perfect for simplicity.

For the finishing touch i used some flat backed pearls for the flower centres and some liquid pearls to finish off the butterfly.

To finish off i used a cheeky little ladybird .

Pretty in pink

Card base is hammered effect pale pink card stock , stamped with flowers in a pink Tim Holtz distress ink. The image is a "wee " stamp. (My favourite stamps at the moment.) Coloured with pro markers.
I have used  x-cut  dies for the frames and joys dies for the butterfly.
The backing frame and butterfly embellishments are from light pink mirror card.
Greeting is printed from my computer  , And to finish with a ribbon rosette and a few silk flowers.
